MA 097 - Algebra for Behavioral Sciences Credit(s): 3 Study of algebra concepts and techniques and applications of algebra to behavioral science topics. Includes proportions, conversions, solving and graphing linear equations, and systems of linear equations. This course does not satisfy the quantitative reasoning requirement of the MPSL and does not satisfy the prerequisite for any mathematics course. A student who has passed a mathematics course numbered MA098 or above or has previously earned a placement score of 3 or higher may not receive credit for MA097.
