BI 306 - Comparative Animal Physiology Credit(s): 4 Exploration of the major trends in physiological adaptation by studying adjustment of the living animal to its environment. Application of underlying chemical and physical principles is emphasized. Topics include neural development, gas exchange, cardiovascular organization, temperature effects, excretion and osmoregulation, sensory reception, endocrine influence, reproductive competence, and functional integration and coordination of these processes.
