NU 317 - Pathophysiology & Pharmacology II Credit(s): 3 This course is the second of two sequential courses designed to provide nursing students with a sound basis in common pathophysiologic conditions of the human body and to introduce pharmacologic concepts to enhance sound decision making, therapeutic interventions, and critical thinking. This course is a continuation of NU 316 Pathophysiology & Pharmacology I, covering oncology, respiratory, acid-base balance, cardiovascular, ECG arrhythmias, kidney & urological, reproductive, and musculoskeletal topics in conjunction with related pharmacologic properties of major drug classifications and significant individual drugs affecting these body systems and processes.
