ED 487 - Developmental Therapy Seminar

The Developmental Therapy Seminar is taught concurrently with the Developmental Therapy Internship. This course supports the work that students are performing in the field as Developmental Therapists. Issues that are covered include: job seeking process, obtaining post-graduation certification, legal aspects of developmental therapy, building trusting and respectful partnerships with families, and management of schedule, materials, assessments, communications. This course is completed with the co-requisite course ED 473 Developmental Therapy Internship.
