CH 351 - Physical Chemistry Laboratory I Credit(s): 1 A physical chemistry laboratory course that explores the physical principles that underlie observable chemical behaviors. A heavy emphasis is placed on experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication. Experimental topics include periodic trends, chemical equilibrium, phase behavior, chemical kinetics, and calorimetry. One three-hour laboratory per week. Physical Chemistry I (CH 303 /PY 303 ) is the companion lecture course.
Begining Spring 2026: this lab will be absorbed by the companion lecture course (CH303/PY303) to become a 4-credit lab/lecture.
