CH 122 - General Chemistry II Credit(s): 4 Designed for students majoring in the natural sciences, this is the second course in the introductory chemistry sequence and provides a survey of essential chemistry concepts including gases, colligative properties, thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, acid-base chemistry, and chemical equilibrium. The companion laboratory is designed to expand a student’s knowledge of laboratory safety, scientific observation, data recording, experimental planning, scientific writing, and fundamental chemical and instrumental techniques. Three hours lecture and three hours lab per week.
