NU 794 - Organizational & Systems Leadership (DNP Core) Credit(s): 3 This course expands the organizational and systems leadership skills of advanced practice nurses to improve patient and health care outcomes for diverse populations. Students will synthesize key concepts and principles of effective, ethical leadership in complex, evolving health care systems. Principles of organizational leadership, entrepreneurship, and economics will be applied in evaluating risk and developing cost-effective strategies to affect positive change. Students will demonstrate intraprofessional and interprofessional communication skills to manage resources and facilitate safe, quality care within the diverse health care system.
